so-called Olympia, Washington
The Pacific Northwest is host to a slate of proposed oil, natural gas, and coal infrastructure projects. The Trump regime has greased the wheels for the rapid completion of the Dakota Access Pipeline despite the fierce resistance of Native water protectors at Standing Rock. The Port of Olympia imports oil-fracking sand. Broken treaties. Climate change. Deforestation. Fed up? Ready to act? You’re not alone! Join the Black Cottonwood Collective at the Rising S.P.R.I.N.G. Convergence and arm yourself with the knowledge and direct action skills necessary to resist pipelines and extractive industry.
No registration is necessary to attend! We are requesting an optional sliding scale donation of $0-50 that will be collected at the door. The Flaming Eggplant Cafe will be open Saturday, April 22, for lunch. Please bring snacks/lunch on Sunday if you are planning to attend the morning session.
